The struggle by Iraqi politicians to create a broad-based and stable government took a giant stride forward Wednesday when veteran Kurdish leader Jalal Talabani was formerly [sic] elected as the troubled nation’s new president.
A Kurd selected as President of Iraq is a surprising outcome. I think it bodes well.
Sidenote: It’s a good thing the MSM has editors. Otherwise they might write “formerly” when they meant “formally”. Oh, hmmmm….Love that “professional” quality writing.
