Apparently Congress doesn’t keep good track of its previous acts. In this case, the Mann Act seems to cover the issue at hand quite nicely:
The U.S. Senate is expected to approve a legislation Tuesday that will prohibit anyone other than a parent or guardian of a minor from taking that minor across state lines in order to obtain an abortion. The House passed the bill by 270-157, last year.
Or is it that these folks don’t consider taking a minor to get an abortion an “immoral purpose”?
