Ernie Fletcher knows where the buck stops

In the kind of move we’d expect from a Harry Truman or a Ronald Reagan, the Governor of Kentucky pardoned everybody but himself in a probe into arcane technical violations of state hiring laws. Frustrated Democrats engaged in politics by prosecution are now talking about impeaching him. The first week books sales will probably equal his governor’s salary for a full term if they do.

Ky. Gov. Issues Pardons in Hiring Probe

Gov. Ernie Fletcher on Monday granted blanket pardons to current and former members of his administration who have been charged in an investigation into alleged improper hiring.
