Good and Bad Signs for Florida

There’s at least one good sign for the 2008 election:

Gov. Charlie Crist signed a bill Monday moving Florida’s 2008 presidential primary to Jan. 29…

Hopefully that’s early enough for them to get the votes counted before the Presidential conventions.

On the other hand, they solved that whole problem of “intimidating” and “disenfranchising” felons by simply automatically allowing felons to vote next time.

In April, Florida paved the way to restore the vote to potentially hundreds of thousands of people who have completed their felony terms and previously were barred permanently from voting.
