Hey, I’m glad we put this guy to good use shooting the right people and I’m glad he enjoys his job – I don’t want America’s safety dependent on a half-hearted effort!
Rick is Brutally Honest about his opinion of it:
I guess these folks would be happier if our marines, our soldiers, our sailors, our airmen, were all trained by the producers of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy before heading off to smite the bad guys.
And the Indepundit has this to say about it is:
Was that a very PC thing to say? Hell, no! But General Mattis is a United States Marine, and they’re just not wired that way. We train our Marines to be “heartbreakers and lifetakers.” If you don’t like it, don’t enlist — the Corps doesn’t want pansies like you, anyhow.
But if you enjoy the freedom and security that these men and women make great personal sacrifices to provide for you, don’t come whining and crying to me when one of them says something that offends your delicate sensibilities.
Right on. And it’s just a shame that the freedom of anyone who has sacrificed so much for our freedom to say what was on his mind is curtailed by senseless political correctness.
