Mister Snitch has written Here comes the story of the Hurricane to the tune of Bob Dylan’s “Hurricane”. I especially liked this part, in light of the fact that so few are questioning the need to spend $200 billion federal dollars in addition to insurance payments, charitable aid and state spending to rebuild affected areas.
Now all but the homeless are bound for the vault.
Builders and power brokers hold out their hand
Budget deficit? Hey, you just gotta understand:
Only Nazis ask about price
And pinching pennies don’t look nice
When the headlines show pain and grief
We gotta be seen with the relief. Cutting costs else-
where – that’s another day’s game.
