That's a mighty big "if"

It will cost you $50/year after that if you want to know what the NY Times thinks you should think.

Hmmm…that’s a mighty big if. The only reason I read any of the NYT stuff now is because Google News insists on putting them at the top of results in spite of requiring the login. (How does the Google spider get past the login anyway?) Logging in for the privilege of news I have to filter to get to the facts is bad enough. Paying for the Times’ editors’ opinions? Forget it.

Filing this under “Economics” since the editors of the New York Times clearly don’t understand how markets work.
