Muslims sue US homeland security over border detentions
Five Muslim-Americans have sued the US Homeland Security Department alleging racial profiling….
The lawsuit alleges that the plaintiffs were singled out after telling customs officials they had attended a “Reviving the Islamic Spirit” conference in Toronto.
Now if this is what the lawsuit actually alleges, then in the court of Judge Hanna it would never see a jury. They were not the victims of racial profiling. They may well have been the victims of religious profiling, but that is not the same thing.
