I’ve had enough of watching John McCain be an ass at this Senate hearing on the abuse of Iraqi prisoners.
The opening statement by Rumsfeld, Brownlee and the generals should have been, “Senators, we’ve dealt with this. We arrested the people who did this in March.”
The answer to every question should be one sentence. “We arrested the people who did this in March.”
The handwringing, the wailing and gnashing of teeth over something that was dealt with over a month ago is ridiculous.
And John McCain needs to be cordially invited to leave the Republican Party.
