Is it just me or is this another case of journalists who don’t know that it’s only news if a Man Bites a Dog?
Bush may have smoked pot
President Bush indicated in interviews secretly taped by a friend before he became president that he had used marijuana but would not admit it for fear of setting a bad example for children.
See, I was under the impression that Bush snorted coke but would not admit it for fear of setting a bad example for children. Smoking pot seems kind of tame by comparison – kind of like a dog bite that doesn’t even break the skin.
Sounds like the stuff of a cheesy novel:
