New information casts additional doubts about the authenticity of the memos purportedly written concerning President Bush by a former superior officer in the Texas Air National Guard in the 1970s, as Dan Rather and CBS News doggedly stuck to their guns defending the documents.

Seems that the officer who according to the memos was slinging his weight around on behalf of W may have been honorably discharged 18 months before the date when the memos say he was doing his weight slinging.
Isn’t it about time we started asking “What did John Kerry know and when did he know it?” and calling for Congressional hearings? Is a Senate ethics complaint in order here?
