I had commented in December regarding Instapundit that “this particular site is very popular, but the predominance of short posts on the latest news have always seemed, to me, a bit less useful than clicking the “Newsâ€? tab on Google or Yahoo.”
This evening while pondering my drop in the Truth Screwed Bear ecosystem from 169 links to 12…(Look for my next book, “Darwin Had it Backwards: from Large Mammal to Crawly Amphibian in less than 24 hours”), I ran across this much older and very similar opinion from 2003:

Glen updates MANY times per day, and his links are usually well worth clicking. However, he normally offers very little of his own commentary. Sometimes just a cursory “indeed” or “hmmm”.
